Welcoming Cocktails in Barcelona at the Lobby Bar

The Hotel Pulitzer prides itself on offering premium comforts at affordable rates.  Comprised of 91 unique guest rooms, each space has been carefully designed to welcome invigorating natural light.  Guest rooms are furnished with warm furnishings and materials, offering an authentically European atmosphere, and an ideal home away from home.

In the lobby of the hotel rests Barcelona’s most popular meeting place.  The Lobby Bar is a warm and inviting space where guests from all walks of life mingle throughout the day.  With a modern and lively music score playing all day, many visitors will find themselves stopping the wait staff to ask, “what’s this song?”

Much like the Hotel Pulitzer itself, the Lobby Bar welcomes bright natural light through its open spaces.  Visitors navigate a criss-cross of activity to find plenty of cosy nooks for curling up with the latest novel or settling in for a refreshing beverage with cherished company.  Bright white seating meshes with the rich chocolate browns of the floors and table surfaces.  The centrepiece is the large white marble bar, behind which a team of skilled tenders mix up the latest specialty cocktails or coffee drinks.  The Lobby Bar presents the ideal space for any time of day.  Catch up on email over espresso in the morning, plan your day with a cool and delightful beverage by mid-day, and return for a lively night cap with the bar’s fine spirit selection.

The Hotel Pulitzer is often recognized as the perfect starting point for an adventure through Barcelona.  Recognizing the city’s embracing of the hotel, the Lobby Bar serves up a variety of specialty cocktails that nod back to the city itself.  Winter in Barcelona is one such seasonal beverage, combining the complex flavours of Ron Abuelo 7 dark rum, vanilla liqueur, cinnamon syrup, Grand Marnier, fresh orange juice and lemon juice, and orange bitters.  This festive drink is shaken and served in a martini glass with an orange peel garnish.  A warming approach to the Barcelona winter.
