Upon entering the Glass Bar, guests will find themselves surrounded by silky, pure glass.  Light and atmosphere protrudes form every corner, with a warmly lit and active cocktail bar at the heart of the space.  An impressive custom chandelier imported from Morocco provides ample overhead lighting, as guests mingle and rest upon designer Philippe Starck’s innovative “ghost” chairs.

The Glass Bar bears the distinction as Spain’s first and only oyster bar.  The trendy bar serves fresh oysters, impressive cocktails, and a wide range of Japanese inspired apertifis and snacks, such as Natural Clams with a Bloody Mary Sauce, Cockles ad Negroni and Tuna Belly with Red Pepper Quince.

Guests of the stunning Urban Hotel 5* GL are welcome to come and go as they please.  Glass Bar requires no reservations, and the fresh drinks and funk music keep coming until the early hours of the morning.  The hotel’s incredible bar is the perfect finish to an amazing adventure in Madrid.

The Glass Bar welcomes guests of the Urban Hotel 5* GL and beyond with a tasteful assortment of specialty cocktails.  Among these is the aptly named Absolute Happiness.  This tasty treat combines Alacran tequila, white chocolate liquor, pure strawberry, and cream with mint.  Mixed, chilled, and served in a frosty cocktail glass, this drink is truly brimming with joy.
