Sophisticated Cocktails in GQ Bar Dubai

As a choice hotel in Dubai’s Business Bay, the JW Marriott Marquis provides optimal surroundings designed to satisfy even the most discerning clientele.  Business and leisure travellers alike often gravitate to the hotel’s stylish GQ Bar Dubai, located in the heart of the world’s tallest hotel.  Holding true to its namesake, the GQ Bar Dubai is a stunning combination of sleek style, sophistication, quality, and class.

Upon entering the space, guests are immediately welcomed by the rich and modern design, the brainchild of Bash Hesnef.  The walls showcase GQ photography and memorabilia from the premier iconic mens fashion magazine.  Warm greys, rich leathers, and solid blacks decorate the space, granting an air of mystery and masculinity.

Guests seeking dinner need not look any further, as the GQ Bar Dubai features a delightful menu of specialty meals, crafted by none other than Gary Robinson, Director of the Condé Nast International Restaurants.  Beyond the food, visitors will discover a rich selection of beverage options.  The drink menu ranges from classic favourites to the more experimental custom creations.  The terrace presents the ideal space for savouring a refreshing drink and a custom blend of shisha.  The tenders will also keep record of each guests’ preferred shisha recipe and choice cocktails.

Guests of a premium hotel such as the JW Mariott Marquis expect the highest quality.  So it is no surprise to find hotel guests clamouring to visit the GQ Bar Dubai.  A staple of style and sophistication, the GQ Bar Dubai’s signature drink harkens back to a classic original, the Suit and Tie.  This traditional beverage starts with 12 year old bourbon, stirred with Santa Teresa orange rum, coffee bean infused Averna Amaro, brown sugar syrup, and a few dashes of Angostura and Jerry Thomas bitters.  The mix is poured into a hickory smoked bottle and finally poured and served over ice.
